What is your primary style? 

I aim to provide a timeless, yet classic style in my editing. If you visit my portfolio, you will notice that my final edits are neutral and clean.

What is the wait time to see our photos?

Turnaround time for galleries is between 6-8 weeks. I want to make sure my client’s receive the best quality of photos. Thank you for your patience in advance!

How far in advance should I book?

It’s better to be proactive when it comes to booking your photographer. We typically have some more popular months than others and book up to 2 years in advance. To secure your date, please submit an inquiry and we will follow-up within 48 hours to discuss next steps.

When do I need to make a deposit? 

In order to book your date, $1000 is required as a nonrefundable deposit. You will want to submit your deposit at your earliest convenience.

When is the full payment amount due? 

Your full payment is due twos week before your booked date.

Do you travel? 

I currently reside in SE Michigan, but my photography takes me among the globe. We have photographed in Oregon, Washington, Ireland, Key West, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Colorado. Be sure to include your destination location in your inquiry and we would love to be by your side!

Do you have an assistant?

Packages Two and Three include a second photographer which also acts as an assistant for the day.  If you are to book Wedding Package One, there will be a Photographer’s assistant. The role of the assistant is to coordinate our shots and ensure the day runs smoothly.

Will a contract of the services be provided? 

Yes! All clients are required to sign a contract at booking before your date can be officially reserved. 

Do you photograph families & seniors? 

While I specialize in wedding photography, I do take on family & senior sessions each year. For more info about these sessions and pricing, please contact us at marlagoodingphotography@gmail.com or call (503) 270-7795. Please note, I give priority on family sessions to my married couples.

What is your refund and/or cancellation policy? 

In order to be refunded any monies paid beyond deposit, you must cancel three, or more, months in advance. We’re sad to see you go but always wish you the best!
